I decided to create more this year, and started by finishing and posting drafts of articles that I believe will be useful to my readers. The latest work is linked on my "Ilona" Facebook page. I tried to write a new post, but somehow lost it as I was almost finished. That hadn't happened since a decade ago... what is with the WordPress not saving the post? I believe it had to do with my internet connection, since I am back in rural Ohio temporarily this month.
So when I get my motivation back I will try to recreate that post.
Youtube Video Creation
While in Ohio, I have shot some video footage at Lake Erie and in the old Prairie conservation park in my area. I did forget to bring my new equipment, but that won't be any different than what I was used to working with.
Combining the Old Garden and the Old House
I combined the Old House Journal into the Home Garden Companion blog. So it isn't just my garden Journal anymore. It reflect the domain name more accurately now. I will also return to more of a personal blogging here on Ilona's Garden Journal/ Home Garden Companion. All the how-to-garden and plant profile type of posting belongs on Ilona's Garden website.
Eventually, with regular posting, I believe I will have readers again. The long neglect of posting due to my health problems, moving, etc. caused my work to almost disappear. I know I am not on the radar of my niche, anymore.
